needs a workaround, the systems fight the staff, or the new platform has sat
half-implemented for a year.

RECENT WORK
Built Special Olympics Minnesota's HR function from the ground up: Designed position leveling, compensation architecture, and manager-capability frameworks that sustained 65%+ engagement and staff-support recognition well beyond the norm for organizations of similar size — on core infrastructure (HRIS, policy, benefits) he established and that continued operating effectively after HR oversight transitioned out of the role.
Modernized technology infrastructure: Migrated Special Olympics Minnesota to Microsoft 365 and cloud SaaS — Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Autopilot/Intune hardware security — the foundation that made the COVID remote transition possible.
Identified, configured, deployed, and supported software platforms: Collaborated with leaders and users to identify and deploy major software platforms — including Microsoft's work-management stack, The Raiser's Edge, The Financial Edge, Omatic, Basecamp, ClickUp, and more — configuring systems, writing SOPs, and training users at Special Olympics Minnesota, Anoka Pride Day, Sample Night Live!, and more.
Led three major facility relocations (2005, 2016, 2025): Partnered with real-estate, design, and project-management firms and aligned staff and Board stakeholders through site selection, leasing, and buildouts negotiated the Forum 900 relocation — consolidating office and warehouse, reducing annual operating costs, with a six-year breakeven vs. prior leases.
Redesigned Special Olympics Minnesota's chart of accounts and Board financial statements: Reduced accounts from 3,000+ to ~500 and consolidated Board financials from 10 pages to 4 — sharper decisions, more strategic financial questions, and a durable strengthening of the organization’s financial culture.
Built COVID-era cash-flow forecasting and financial planning: Partnered with finance staff to reverse-engineer the general ledger into a scenario-based cash-position model led a rolling 12–24-month plan that preserved services and emerged with stronger reserves and elevated Board confidence.
